  11.         VBBS allows up to 20 timed events per day.  Possibilities
  12.      for these events include your daily external maintenance routine
  13.      (usually done through a batch file or three), network dialouts,
  14.      online game maintenance, etc.
  15.  
  16.      1) Time
  17.         ════
  18.         The time the event is to run, entered in HH:MM format
  19.         using military time.  A time of 00:00 disables the event.
  20.  
  21.      2) Command Line

  23.         The DOS command line or batch file to execute.  For exam-
  24.         ple, you might enter
  25.  
  26.            C:\VBBS\EXTERNAL.BAT
  27.  
  28.         for an external daily-cleanup routine.  Complete pathnames
  29.         are not required if the routines are located in your main
  30.         VBBS directory, but it's better to make sure.

  33.      There are a number of external utilities specifically designed
  34.      for use with VBBS; they are listed in APPENDIX K. For online-game
  35.      maintenance, please consult the game documentation.
